Anushka Shetty is ready to sizzle on-screen with Nagarjuna again, if the reports are to be believed. The south Indian beauty inspite of having her kitty filled with Tamil and Telugu films readily jumped into the project starring Nagarjuna. It is said that Anushka’s friendship with the hero is the reason for her to do the film.

Earlier the film makers approached Ileana for the project, and wanted her to cast as the heroine of the film opposite the superstar, however, the Goan beauty declined the offer citing date problems and now it is Anushka’s gain. Anushka and Nagarjuna displayed their chemistry on-screen in various films like Don, Super and Ragada, even in films like Kedi and King starring the hero, the tall actress did cameos.

This new Telugu flick starring Anushka and Nagarjuna will be directed by G. Srinivasa Reddy and is to be produced under the banner PR Movie Makers by Venkat. The likely title of the film is Dhamarukam that will be of the socio-fantasy genre.  The music of this big budget film will be scored by Sri Prasad and the film has been launched on October 9, last year.

Last year Anushka gave quite major hits in the South Indian film box-office and delivered around six movies last year. Almost all of them were successful and already has projects like Vaanam and Deiva Magan. While the 29-year old actress is still filming for the latter flick which will release in October, Vaanam is all set to hit the theatres on 3rd February of this year.
