Antoine Dodson arrested for pot possession
April 26th, 2011 - 2:16 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattAlabama, Apr 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Antoine Dodson was arrested on Saturday for the possession of marijuana. He was arrested in Alabama and has got 4 other misdemeanor charges slapped on him as well. Things started unraveling for him, when he was pulled over for speeding in Huntsville and then booked for the same in the wee hours of the morning. Then he was also slapped with a charge for misdemeanor possession. As he had also failed to turn up in court on some previous issues so he was charged against it as well.
Later his family posted his bond and he was released from the prison but still there is no respite for him as he is looking at least a year behind bars on the current charges that are slapped against him according to the Madison County Sherriff.
Later Antoine Dodson posted a tweet on the popular social networking and microblogging site Twitter about his recent brush with the law. The tweet stated that, “Let me be the first to tell it!! So just got out of jail off a weak charge. LmaORoTfF!!!!!”
He had become an Internet sensation after one of his videos went viral on the Internet.
