The non-fiction movie will portray the work of the veteran in entertainment industry. Hopkins is well known for his contribution in the psycho-horror movies like The Silence of Lambs. And now, he will get into the character of original master of this genre.
The production company Montecito is in talks with the 73 year old actor to sign him for the film adaptation of the book ‘Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho’, written by Stephen Rebello.
The book tells the tale of the filmmaker’s decision of making the horror movie, which has became world famous now. It also tells how he struggled to get finance and support for making the film.
John Laughlin of Black Swan fame has written the script of the film and Sacha Gervasi is likely to direct it. The film is likely to focus on Hitchcock’s relationship with his wife, Alma Reville.
If the Academy Award winner actor plays the role the he will definitely do justice to this role and it will be a wonderful film.
