Anne Hathaway’s jewelry gifted to her by ex-boyfriend to be auctioned off by the FBI

Los Angeles, Jun 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Anne Hathaway’s jewelry which was gifted to her by her ex-boyfriend, is going to be auctioned off by the FBI.
Amongst the items that would be auctioned include a gold Rolex watch which is estimated to be worth close to $25,000, a silver Rolex watch which is estimated to be worth close to $5000, a necklace made up of pearls and silver and diamond earrings. She had been gifted all these items by her ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri.
It ought to be mentioned that the FBI later arrested her ex-boyfriend Follieri. The FBI had arrested him on charges of ‘federal wire fraud conspiracy and money laundering’.
When Anne learnt that her businessman boyfriend was a fraud then she was shocked, as she had dated him for four years. When the FBI decided to auction the 12 jewelry items then the gorgeous actress was offered the chance to bid on them first and claim them, but she refused to do so.
Anne said that, “As soon as I found out about the arrest, I had to get on a plane to Mexico to do a promotional tour for ‘Get Smart’. And then I spent a week in shock at a friend’s house.”
