Washington DC, Dec 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actress Anne Hathaway’s boyfriend Raffaelo Follieri has been arrested according to reports. Their relationship began in 2004. And Raffaelo is an Italian property developer who is said to be a scrupulous crook. According to reports, Raffaelo Follieri was arrested on Thursday December 10th, 2009. He was arrested after he reportedly tried to pass a bad cheque of the amount $25,000. A Washington, D.C. court had recently ordered Anne Hathaway’s boyfriend Raffaelo Follieri to pay a public-relations firm $250,000.

Raffaelo Follieri has been involved in crimes before too, and has been arrested before too. He was arrested in 2008 after billionaire Ron Burkle filed a lawsuit against Raffaelo Follieri. Burke’s lawsuit claimed that Follieri allegedly spent away $1.3 million of business funds for his extravagant and flamboyant lifestyle.

The Disney Princess to-be Anne Hathaway began her relationship with her Italian boyfriend in 2004. And since then she is a charitable donor for the Follieri Foundation and also remained as one of the foundation’s board of directors.

According to other reports, John Malkovich and Anne Hathaway are looking forward to join the cast of the fourth sequel of the blockbuster Spider-Man.
