Anne Hathaway voted ‘Best Young Actress of Last Year’

London, Aug 6 (ANI): Anne Hathaway has topped a new poll of the ‘Best Young Actresses of the Last Year’.
The Devil Wears Prada star, 26, is the only actress under 30 to receive an Oscar nomination in the last twelve months.
Knightley landed the second spot.
The list was compiled by lovefilm.com after studying the commercial and critical success of actresses under 30 in the previous 12 months.Michelle Williams came third while British actress Emily Blunt stood fourth.
Star Wars veteran Natalie Portman rounded off the top five.
“The film industry is swarming with hugely gifted young actresses at the moment, from lads’ fave Megan Fox to the multi-talented Anne Hathaway,” the Telegraph quoted Helen Cowley, editor of lovefilm.com, as saying.
“She has clawed her way to the top of this chart after winning an Oscar nomination for her role in Rachel Getting Married, and with her latest role as The White Queen in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, this star is seriously on the rise,” she added.
