Actress Anne Hathaway and her boyfriend, Adam Shulman, were spotted walking the streets in New York on Friday, May 29. The couple held hands while walking along on the streets. The 26 year-old actress was sporting trendy attire, clad in her favorite Burberry Prorsum trench court.

The “Devil wears Prada” star is preparing for her part in Daniel Sullivan’s “Shakespeare in the Park.” She will be playing the character of Viola in “Twelfth Night.” The play is scheduled to be held at Central Park’s Delacorte Theater. The official date of opening is set for June 25th.

Hathaway, the star of such comedies as “Princess Diaries,” “Get Smart,” “Bride Wars” and “The Devil Wears Prada,” is venturing into a completely new arena in her lustrous career. Her movie lists boasts of such names as “Brokeback Mountain” and “Havoc,” for which she received a G- rated image. Her 2008 film, “Rachel Getting Married” brought her acclaim as an actress and many awards. The film also fetched her an Academy Award nomination for the first time in her career.

Hathaway’s style is compared to such old school names as Audrey Hepburn and Judy Garland. Incidentally, her favorite actress is Audrey Hepburn. She also says that she idolizes Meryl Streep.

Anne Hathaway’s looks too is a mixture of old school meets new. Onscreen, she carries herself with great elan. It is not exactly a retro pull out yet not conventionally ultra modern. In 2006, she made it to the list of “50 Most Beautiful People in the World”. The “Princess Diaries” turned her into an instant favorite among children.
