Anna Nicole Smith’s doctor and her former consort have been charged with three counts of felony, conspiracy and other charges for giving fraudulent prescriptions. Dr. Kristine Ehrosevich had earlier sent a fax from the Bahamas to Los Angeles become Anna Nicole Smith passed away asking for a list of potent drugs that could take her patient’s life. She was the same doctor who was projected as Anna’s “best friend”.

The list mentioned some very potent drugs and included four bottles of 2 mg Dilaudid, 2 mililiter vials of Lorazepam (Ativan), two 350 mg bottles of Soma, making a total of 180 tablets, a bottle each of 30 mg Dalmane and 400 mg Prexig, a bottle of methadone containing 300 5mg tablets. All the drugs listed are painkillers of various types.

Eroshevich sent the fax to Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, who was treating Anna Nicole who went to him by the name of Michelle Chase. Kapoor has also been charged by the authorities.

The LA County District Attorney said that the charges against Eroshevich, Kapoor and Howard K. Stern allege that they were supplying Anna Nicole with controlled substances for a period of three years. The fax was sent on Sept 15, 2006 a week after baby Daniellyn was born and five days before Daniel, her son died. Kapoor refused to fill the prescriptions so the list was sent directly to Key Pharmacy in North Hollywood where it was refused.

All the drugs carry warnings against consumption by pregnant and breast-feeding women. While Eroshevich confirmed she had sent the fa she did not elaborate on the matter citing “patient confidentiality.”
