Chennai, Feb 20 (IANS) After the initial euphoria, “Indralogathil Naa Azhagappan” sank at the box office while Myskin’s “Anjathe” received a good opening mainly because of the success of his first film “Chithiram Pesuthadi”. The top five Tamil films are:

1. “Anjathe” - Director: Mysskin. Many expected another “Chithiram Pesuthadi” but Mysskin surprised everyone with this thriller. It can be termed one of the best films made so far in 2008.

2. “Indralogathil Naa Azhagappan” - Director: Thambi Ramaiah. Vadivelu’s triple roles have not worked with the audience. The film is a big let down.

3. “Bheema” - Director: Linguswamy. Another flop at the box office! This is Vikram’s first release after a gap of two years and it has disappointed everyone.

4. “Pirivom Sandippom” - Director: Karu Palaniyappan. This is the only Pongal film that has worked at the box office. The chemistry between Cheran and Sneha is amazing.

5. “Billa” - Director: Vishnu Vardhan. “Billa” is the biggest hit of Ajith’s career and is doing better than most Pongal releases.
