Oct 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Anticipation was running really high about the Siddharth Anand directed flick ‘Anjaana Anjaani” which released in theaters all over the country on Friday. The long wait for all the die-hard Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor fans who were waiting with bated breathes for the movie, finally ended when the flick was released today. Given the fact that this is the very first time that the Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor have been paired opposite each other and their sizzling chemistry in the promos, it did not come as much of a surprise that the Yash Raj film opened to packed theaters in many parts of the country.

Although many critics have slammed the movie describing it as just another run-of-the mill romance with a predictable storyline, as expected “Anjaana Anjaani” seemed to strike a chord with the young college-going audiences many of whom were seen coming out of the theaters after catching the movie first day first show. With the extensive hype that the Yash Raj flick had managed to create, it would not be a surprise if the movie turns out to be a real crowd puller in the upcoming days.

The basic storyline revolves around Akash played by Ranbir Kapoor and Kiara played by Priyanka Chopra who meet for the first time on bridge with the aim of ending their lives. However, they embark on a road trip to realize their unfulfilled desires while in the process unknowingly falling for each other. Although the premise might sound quite familiar, there is no stopping the ardent Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor fans who are eagerly waiting to catch the movie.
