July 6, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The music of Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol starrer Aisha was launched on July 4 in presence of some celebrities associated with the film. The movie is being produced by Anil Kapoor’s younger daughter Rhea Kapoor.

The proud father Anil Kapoor was present at the event though he complained humorously that his daughters did not even invite him. He was informed by his driver and had to gate crash the event.

Anil said, “I was even not invited by my daughters. I came to know about it from my driver and had to gate crash the event. It is probably the worst day of my life.”

The VJ-turned actor Cyrus Sahukar, who is also acting in the movie, compered the event, making it full of fun. The music launch took place at Tote’s in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai.

The gorgeous Sonam looked playful with Vivienne Westwoods Red Label polka dot cocktail dress. She attended the event along with her producer sister Rhea Kapoor, younger brother Harshvardhan Kapoor and parents Anil and Sunita Kapoor.

The pink off shoulder draped dress of Sonam along with modern accessories like a vintage multiple string pearl bracelet, white clutch and nude strappy heels, gave her a delightful look.

Apart from the Kapoor family, Lilette Dubey, Amit Trivedi and Javed Akhtar were present there to grace the event.

Amit Trivedi of Dev D fame has composed music for the film, which is set to hit the big screens on August 6.

The story of Aisha is based on Jane Austen’s famous novel “Emma’. Sonam’s kid sister Rhea Kapoor is debuting as a producer with this movie.

Abhay Deol, the lead actor of the movie was absent from the music launch as he was busy with the shooting in Spain for Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Mile Doobara.

Other actors of the movie like Arunodhay Singh, Ira Dubey, Amrita Puri, Lisa Hayden and Cyrus Sahukar had a blast at the music launch.
