Angie Harmon confesses that she suffers from mommy guilt
June 10th, 2011 - 7:50 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, June 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Angie Harmon gives an interview in the July edition of the magazine Good Housekeeping. The actress, who is a mother of three, regrets that she hasn’t been there most of the time for her family.
The 38-year-old said that working on TNT’s Rizzoli & Isles has taken the center stage of her life at the expense of her family. Subsequently, Angie says she suffers from what she referred to as ‘mommy guilt.’
She told the magazine that, “I’m a mess… I’ve lost 10 pounds since I got here. This is the hardest time in my life, for sure. When I feel like I’m not doing what I am supposed to as a mother, I will torture myself.”
The magazine quoted Angie as saying that she will give up anything just to have a cure for the ‘mommy guilt.’ She however revealed that she is consoled by the fact that she is not in the situation alone saying all mothers feel the same guilt at a point in the their lives.
Angie is the mother of 7-year-old Finley, 6–year-old Avery and 2-year-old Emery. The children spend most of their time with their father Jason Sehorn. Angie works 90 hours every week on the set of Rizzoli & Isles.
