Angelina Jolie reunites with her father

Venice, Feb 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Angelina Jolie and her father Jon Voight have had an estranged relationship for around 7 years. But now the ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’ star has reunited with her father in Italy. Apparently their relationship soured when Jon Voight said that Angelina needed professional help for her ‘serious mental problems’. This was the start of the debacle of their relationship, and things went downhill from there. Later the ‘Tomb Raider’ star Angelina said that, “My father and I don’t speak. I don’t hold any anger toward him. I don’t believe that somebody’s family becomes their blood. Because my son’s adopted, and families are earned.”
It is being said that Angelina Jolie’s partner Brad Pitt was responsible for thawing Angelina’s cold vibes for her father. He had asked her to have a good relationship with her dad. According to a source, “Since (Pitt and Jolie) have been together, Brad has been encouraging Angie to smooth things over with her dad,” the source said. “And when it comes to the kids, Brad wants them to know their grandfather the way the kids know his parents.”
On Sunday, Angelina Jolie was photographed with her brood of children and her father, which sparked the idea that the cold war between them had finally come to an end.
