Angelina Jolie Aug 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Angelina Jolie, Goodwill Ambassador to the UN, is urging everyone to join together and aid over twenty million people who were devastated by the floods which have saturated the country of Pakistan.

While she admits that she understands how people are becoming worn out from helping, with so many recent tragedies, it is still very important that Pakistan receives help. “it is getting hard for people - they see Haiti, they see these other events … and they get exhausted by the time another big one rolls around.” But the actress is very concerned that the country will not get the help it needs, and will face, “mass death, mass displacement”

Although Jolie has visited several countries as the UN Goodwill Ambassador, she has not yet been to Pakistan, but promises that she plans to make a trip there “when the cameras go away.” Over twenty million people are homeless and face death as the presence of cholera has been confirmed in the country.

The victims are said to need food, water, and supplies more than the need money, and Jolie suggests that money can go into the wrong hands, so it is always better to donate supplies as well as food and water. This way it is assured that your donation goes where it is needed.
