Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Donates $2 Million To Namibian Wildlife Sanctuary

angelinaJan 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Brangelina, as the couple is known as, has a huge Christmas gift to share with the rest of the world. The celebrity couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, have donated $2 million (nearly 1.2 million) to a wildlife sanctuary in Namibia. This country is the birthplace of their first biological daughter, Shiloh. The whole family spent their Christmas there, as reported by a leading media source. Sources revealed that so long the family was on vacation, the children of this leading Hollywood couple helped in taking care and feed the orphaned foxes and the baby baboons.

The family went off to Namibia to spend their Christmas at the N/a’an ku s Wildlife Sanctuary. This sanctuary takes care of injured animals. They include lions and cheetahs. The sanctuary is run by conservationists Dr. Rudie van Vuuren and his wife, Marlice van Vuuren. Angelina Jolie told a leading newspaper that they are very impressed by the dedication and the hard work of the people who are toiling day and night so as to conserve the land and wildlife of the nation. The kids of the much talked about couple also got the opportunity to to see a leopard being released back into the wild, into its natural habitat.

The actress also said that the main reason to come to Namibia was to make her daughter grow up with the understanding of the country where she was born. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are close friends with the directors and founders of N/a’an ku se Wildlife Sanctuary. She also said that the new section of this donation would be under the name of N/a’an ku se and Shiloh, their daughter. According to reports, the donation would support a free clinic for the treatment of San bushmen. and would also help in fund conservation programs for big animals.
