Dec 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The hottest news to hit the headlines today is that Andrew Wilson, of the famous “Wilson Brothers,” is reported to have been bitten by a shark in the leg this weekend whilst he was swimming near his brother Owen Wilson’s house. According to various sources and reports, it has been concluded that the injury is minor. There has been no news of his leg being amputed since the injury is not a grave one. There has been no reports as yet regarding whether he is still in the hospital or has been released from there.

Reports suggest that Andrew Wilson narrowly escaped from what could have been a fatal mishap Owen Wilson, his elder brother also encountered that same incident when a shark bit his foot as he along with his friends went surfing in the Hawaii earlier this month. Owen Wilson tells the media that his brother Andrew Wilson was actually was bitten by a shark on his right foot. For Andrew Wilson, the experience was like a feeling of something clamping the feet and pulling him down while he is swimming. Had he not been quick enough, it would have been difficult for the actor to save his life. Since the injury was not that serious, he only had to get a few stitches. The people who came to his rescue at that moment, had tied a cord round his ankle to stop blood circulation in his foot.

This is not the first time Andrew Wilson is suffering an injury in some incident where his brother is also related. As a child, Owen Wilson once fired a BB pellet into his brother’s hand that remains there till date. This pellet could be seen in The Royal Tenenbaums. The brothers spend their time alternatively between Hawaii and California.
