Anderson, Duchovny top favourite partnership poll

London, Aug 4 (IANS) Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny’s characters from the “X-Files” have topped a poll to find the Britain’s favourite movie partnership of all time. Contactmusic.com reports Anderson and Duchovny, who played paranormal investigators Dana Scully and Fox Mulder in the sci-fi series and its film version, beat other top duos like “Batman and Robin” who came in second. Johnny Castle and Frances Hosueman from the 1987 movie “Dirty Dancing” are third on the list and Danny and Sandy from the 1978 musical “Grease” are on fourth place.

The top five were rounded off by Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway, who played bank robbers in the 1967 movie “Bonnie and Clyde”.
