Anderson Cooper has sharks for company in a segment on CBS ‘60 Minutes’

CBS show ’60 Minutes’ aired ‘The Sharkman’ which showcased Mike Rutzen and Anderson Cooper who played daredevils and dived into shark infested waters. And that is not all, the duo didn’t have adequate protection as well, so it was really a heroic feat of all sorts.

012561 Mike Rutzen was perhaps the best person to accompany Anderson Cooper on this dangerous mission as he has spend more than half of life studying the life and times of the sharks. He is also well known as ‘The Sharkman.’ He has dived into the shark infested waters, many times.

He is also responsible for dispelling the myth that sharks are dangerous animals. He said that on the contrary the white sharks are one of the smartest animals on Earth. He also added that they are not ‘killing animals’ as they are popularly known.

Mike took Anderson Cooper on a boat ride in South Africa and then he showcased his ‘Player’ to the star CNN host. It ought to be mentioned that the ‘Player’ is in reality a white shark, which is very calm and composed by nature. Anderson was moved by the love, which Mike has for these so-called ferocious animals.
