September 1, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Anaitha Nair, who became popular after playing the role of Aliya Bose, in Shah Rukh Khan starrer movie “Chak De India’ in 2007, has a line of films on her hand, which are set to release soon. And, the interesting part is that in most of her films, Bollywood hunk John Abraham is playing the lead role.
Ashayein, which was released last week, was the latest release of Nair with John in the lead. She will also be seen in John’s next movie titled “Jhootha Hi Sahi’, which is being directed by Abbas Tyrewala. Recently, she has bagged one more film with John and it will be a remake of the hit Tamil movie “Kaakha Kaakha’. With this, Anaitha has got total three movies with John Abraham.
Both the actors have a very strange common factor and that is both of them are half-Malayali and half-Parsi. The Bangalorean bubbly girl Anaitha is very excited over this lucky coincidence of acting with John Abraham in most of the movies in the early phase of her career. The 26 year old actress said that it just happened and was never planned.
Anaitha added that shooting in London for the movie “Jhootha Hi Sahi’ came as a blessing to her as she met her man there. She said that she was with Akhil Nair in school but they lost touch and they met again in London during the shooting. When she came back, they remained in touch through email and now they are engaged and will get married next year, informed Anaitha.
Anaitha had to tonsure her head and lose some weight for her role of a terminally ill girl in “Aashayein’. However, she said that she had no problem to go bald and shed some kilos but it takes a lots of time to grow her hair back.
