Los Angeles, Mar 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) An arrest has being made in the death investigation of actor Corey Haim. California’s attorney general’s office said that there was an illegal prescription drug ring, and it is being suspected that actor Corey Haim used to procure drugs and pills from this ring. Details about the arrest haven’t been made available to the media, but the officials of the Attorney General Jerry Brown did say that the pharmacy records reveal that Corey used to procure thousands of dangerous pills from numerous doctors.

It was also learnt that the person who was arrested didn’t use to directly supply the drugs to the late actor, but rather he was part of a bigger drug racket, according to Attorney General Jerry Brown’s spokeswoman Christine Gasparac. She had also revealed last week that Corey Haim’s death was linked to an “illegal and massive prescription-drug ring.”

Meanwhile on the other hand, Corey’s friends and family had claimed that Corey Haim was not doing drugs any longer. A few days earlier, Corey Haim’s closest friend and buddy Corey Feldman had said that he was really angry that that the general public is attributing the death of the actor to drug overdose. He had said that the actor was almost successful in his battle against drug abuse, just week’s prior to his death. “If he took all the pills that our records show he was prescribed over the last year and three months, he took very damaging assaults on his body,” Brown said.
