London, Oct 31 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A new album of the late singer Amy Winehouse will be released in December. The album which is titled “Amy Winehouse Lioness: Hidden Treasures” will feature tracks which were recorded by the singer when she was struggling with drugs and her marriage.

27-year-old Winehouse was found dead at her home on the 23rd of July. The pathologist report after the autopsy revealed that the singer might have been killed by over-consumption of alcohol. The report stated that the alcohol level found in the late singer was more than five times the allowable limit for drivers in Britain.

The release of the album was agreed on by the family of Winehouse, her management and her record label. The album will be produced by Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson.

Winehouse’s father, Mitch, told reporters after the announcement that, “Had the family felt this album wasn’t up to the standard of Amy’s others, we’d never have agreed to release it. We believe it will stand as a fitting tribute to her musical legacy.”

£1 of each album that will be sold will be used to fund the organization Amy Winehouse Foundation. The foundation was set up in memory of the singer to help addicts and vulnerable around the world.
