Amy Winehouse’s father Mitch is considering setting up a charity rehab facility at the last home of the late singer. Amy had addiction problems and she spent several times in various rehab centers.

Mitch announced that, “We wanted to make a positive difference and help a range of causes close to Amy’s heart. This could include help for children in trouble, suffering from health problems, children’s hospices and more. While it is separate from my campaign to find more help for young addicts, that may be one of the areas the foundation contributes to.”

However a spokesperson for the family during an interview with the British broadcaster Sky said that the family has not made the final decision on using the last home of Amy for the foundation.

27-year-old Amy Winehouse was found unconscious at her home in London last month. Efforts to revive her failed and she was declared dead moments after the ambulance got to the house.

An initial autopsy carried out on the body failed to determine the cause of death and the authorities have announced that toxicology tests will be carried out on the body.

The family has since been on the wait for the results of the toxicology tests.
