London, July 27 (ANI): Amy Winehouse’s father Mitch has reportedly decided to release an album.
The singer’s dad has been busy laying down tracks including Frank Sinatra covers as well as his own songs, according to sources.
“Mitch has been working on it for a while now,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.
“Amy always credits her dad with getting her into singing.
“He loves music. He has a good voice and wants a go at turning professional,” the source added.
Mitch has approached Amy’s label, Island Records, about a deal and if that fails to work out he can always take help from his daughter, who has her own label, Lioness. (ANI)
