Amy Winehouses dad insists shes not on suicide watch
December 17th, 2007 - 4:52 pm ICT by admin ( Leave a comment )Washington, Dec 17 (ANI): Troubled singer Amy Winehouses dad Mitch has shot down reports that his daughter is on suicide watch.
The reports came after the Back To Black star was implicated in the bribery plot for which her hubby Blake Fielder-Civil was taken into custody.
However, Mitch has dismissed the prospect of criminal charges and that Amy has been driven to contemplate suicide.
“It’s rubbish. Amy is on the road to recovery and there’s no way she would ever consider that,” Contactmusic quoted Mitch, as saying.
London’s Metropolitan Police is set to interrogate Winehouse over accusations that she may have been involved in an alleged scheme to halt husbands trial for grievous bodily harm.
Presently, Fielder-Civil is on remand in the city’s Pentonville Prison for perverting the course of justice. (ANI)
