London, July 14(ANI): Amy Winehouse’s long awaited comeback album has finally got a release date.
With enough material for ‘three separate’ albums, the singer has given her record label the thumbs-up, promising an offering even more successful than her Grammy-award-winning classic Back To Black.
The new album that hasn’t been named yet, will probably hit the stores in January.
“It’s been an incredible past few weeks for Amy. She has completely turned her life around,” The Mirror quoted a studio source as saying.
“It has been a long time coming - and she’s been writing songs for what seems an eternity - but finally Amy is satisfied and believes she has an album worthy of a four-year wait.
“She’s held meetings with the record label, Universal, and they are Jputting everything into promotion.
“A lot of the material covers her romance with Blake Fielder Civil and their acrimonious split, plus, of course, her battle with the booze and drugs,” the source added. (ANI)
