Washington, July 23 (ANI): Troubled singer Amy Winehouse is due to appear in court over alleged fan assault.
The 25-year-old star pleaded not guilty to the charge that she attacked Sherene Flash in Berkeley Square, central London, last September in her earlier hearing, reports Daily Express.
Winehouse, who performed at the ball before she is alleged to have assaulted Flash, gave her name as Amy Jade Civil at the March hearing.
However, she was divorced from her estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil earlier this month and is expected to appear under her maiden name for the trial at City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court, which is due to last two days.
Winehouse recently returned to the Britain from an extended break in St Lucia. (ANI)
