London, Jan 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Amy Winehouse has pleaded guilty to a drunken assault in which she manhandled a theater manager at a Christmas show last year. She was in court today morning in London, where she pleaded guilty.

The other details behind the assault were revealed in court today. It was divulged that she had 5 drinks of vodka prior to going for a Christmas show, that also starred Mickey Rooney. After reaching the show, she became more drunk and then she went to use the restrooms. On the way to the restrooms, she briefly stopped at the bar counter, and asked the manager Richard Pound for another drink. He politely asked her to have a glass of water instead, and then asked her to leave the bar. Then Amy Winehouse instead of leaving, became angry and then grabbed Richard Pound’s hair and pulled at it.

Amy Winehouse was arrested last year in December from Milton Keynes, which is quite near London. The judge asked her to pay Richard Pound a sum of $300 and also the equivalent of 2 years of probation. The judge also said about the probation that it “may be harder than a fine, because you have now got to stay on the straight and narrow for the next two years.”
