London, April 22 (ANI): Singer Amy Winehouse has received a hat trick of nominations at this year’s Ivor Novello songwriting awards.
Love is a Losing Game and You Know I’m No Good have both been nominated in best song of this year category, reports BBC.
Rehab, which won an Ivor Award for Winehouse last year in the best contemporary song category, is now nominated for best-selling British song.
The Grammy Awards winner has only one other competitor for best song Let Me Out by Ben’s Brother.
Beautiful Liar by Shakira and Beyonce and Grace Kelly by Mika are competing with Winehouse for best-selling song.
Nominations for the best contemporary song award include Kate Nash with Foundations, Golden Skans by the Klaxons and Cherry Ghost’s People Help The People.
Radiohead’s In Rainbows, which was released in a pay-what-you-like download, are up against Stephen Fretwell and Cherry Ghost in best album category.
Atonement, Becoming Jane and La Vie en Rose are all up for the best original film score.
The award ceremony, which honour British music publishers, songwriters and composers, will be held in London on 22 May. (ANI)
