English singer Amy Winehouse’s first lyrics written at the age of seventeen in a school notebook was discovered among a pile of trash in a street of London. According to reports circulating in the media, several of the singer’s notebooks during her years in school were dumped into a trash can of London, where a chance discovery revealed lyrics penned by Amy Winehouse, when she was still attending school, also written in the red colored notebook were her aspirations to make it big and lead a rich lifestyle. The media reports suggest that the newly discovered lyrics are the first writing by Amy Winehouse.

The red notebook reportedly had the words ‘Amy’s Songs’ written on its cover page, the reason why the discoverer went on to check the contents of the notebook in the first place. However, the person who made the astonishing discovery has not been named in the media reports. The first lyrics, as found inside the trash bin in London, goes thus, “I’m digging myself into a hole. These days I’ll just work when once I had so much soul.” These lyrics have not found place in any of her songs to date.
