Amy Childs to be on the Bachelorette
December 8th, 2011 - 8:25 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, Dec 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Sun has reported that UK’s version of the hit US show The Bachelorette is planned. The report claims that UK model Amy Childs has been contacted to be the first bachelorette in the first season of the show.
The report says Amy was selected to be the bachelorette because she is single despite reports that she has a boyfriend. Being single is a requirement for the show because the bachelorette will get the opportunity to get engaged to one of the contestants on the show.
A source revealed to The Sun said that, “The Bachelorette has done big business over in the US so British TV execs want a slice of the action. Amy has been picked to be the temptress because she’s pretty easy on the eye. It’s not going to be hard to find 25 blokes who fancy becoming her boyfriend. Who knows, she may even settle down with one of them. They could set up home in a nice mock Tudor place in Essex.”
Amy is a former star of “The Only Way Is Essex.” She has her own show on Channel 5 titled It’s All About Amy. The show which premiered recently did not turn out to attract more viewers. She has however indicated that she hope for more viewers to tune in during the airing of the subsequent episodes.
The Sun say another former Essex star Kirk Norcross is being considered to be the next Bachelor.
