Amy Childs feels sidelined by newcomers
April 20th, 2011 - 7:03 pm ICT by ANILondon, April 20 (ANI): ‘The Only Way Is Essex’ star Amy Childs is apparently furious that she is being squeezed out in the show while newcomers and extras get twice the screen time she does.
“She had a massive diva moment. This show is everything to her and she is worried at how she is now being projected,” the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.
The sexy model, who is one of the original stars of the show, has confided in pals that she feels “sidelined’ as new arrivals such as Joey Essex and Chloe Simms take centre stage.
Even her manager Claire Powell agrees that Amy is not getting the air time.
She tweeted to her: “Need you in it more as everyone saying it.”
Fans agree that they are not seeing enough of Amy while other original stars have been given bigger and better “storylines”.
“There’s no doubt Amy’s one of the stars of the show. But as the weeks go by she’s turning into The Invisible Woman,” said a fan.
A source said Amy feared she was being lined up for the boot amid claims she thought she had become bigger than the show.
“Amy’s aware people are jealous of her success and are trying to run her down,” the source said. (ANI)
