New York, Nov 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Amy Adams has spoken about her time on the set of the movie “The Muppets.” Producer Todd Liebermann reportedly handed the leading role of the movie to Adams after the two worked on the project “The Fighter” last year.

When “The Muppets” started filming earlier this year, Amy had just given birth to daughter Aviana Olea Le Gallo. She had the child with her boyfriend Darren Le Gallo.

During a press conference at the Beverly Hilton hotel, Amy said that, “It was my first family film after having a child and cool to work with the Muppets. They were a big part of my childhood… It was an opportunity to relive my childhood while I had a child and it’s going to be a great way to introduce my child to the Muppets.”

Jason Segel played the male lead role in the movie. The 6ft 4in actor said he had the occasion to help Amy during the dance on the musical movie. Amy agreed to the view that Segel is a natural dancer. She said amid a joke that Segel never dropped her during the various dances but only “lifted my skirt up, accidentally I think, just once.”

The “Muppets” is a project of Liebermann and his partner David Hoberman.
