Ammu Ramesh Upbeat About Debut Venture
December 14th, 2010 - 1:13 pm ICT by Sampurn Wire
First time director Ammu Ramesh is very excited about his debut film to be released from Kollywood this year. In a statement to the media, Ammu Ramesh candidly says that he is very satisfied with the job that he has done on ‘Thambikkottai’, an action film starring Narain and Poonam Bajwa in lead roles. The fact which makes him confident that his debut venture will click at the box office and will be loved by critics and audiences alike is that ‘Thambikkottai’ is an out and out commercial film.
It is not only the star cast of the film which makes Ammu Ramesh upbeat about his own film, it is also the fact that all the characters represented in ‘Thambikkottai’ have received their due that makes him happy. In a statement to the media, Ammu Ramesh confirms that while Narain has been given the most pivotal role in the upcoming Tamil flick, all other actors have also portrayed very important characters in ‘Thambikkottai’. In fact his cast is so big that it would have been very difficult for any other debutante director to have worked with them, says a complacent Ammu Ramesh.
Not to forget the music composed for ‘Thambikkottai’ by Imman. It was earlier reported that Imman had worked on the composition for close to one year and therefore the result is a superb collection of songs. If Ammu Ramesh is to be believed, ‘Thambikkottai’, which hits theaters this month looks like a sure hit.
