Amitabh Bachchan to sing the original Madhushala

Feb 12, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s famous poem “Madhushala’ has been made into a song, sung by Mana Dey and composed by Jaidev, a long time ago. However, it turns out that the poet had composed a tune for the poem, which may soon be brought out as a song by his son, Amitabh Bachchan.
Amitabh has decided that he will soon sing his father’s rendition of “Madhushala’ so that the people can be exposed to the original that his father had composed. Although he likes the Manna Dey-Jaidev version, he would like to sing it with an orchestra as he has lesser film assignments for this year.
