America’s Got Talent: Wild Card Results
August 19th, 2011 - 9:14 pm ICT by Angela Kaye MasonAug 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) This week was ‘Wild Card Week’ on ‘America’s Got Talent’, with twelve acts, which had been previously eliminated, given the chance to make their way back into the competition. The judges would each choose their four favorites from the bunch.
‘Kenetic King’ took the stage first, and Piers chase him. King had a terrific act and so it was good that he was given a second chance to perform. From the sounds of the cheers, it was obvious that the audience thought so as well. King will be moving ot the next round.
‘Those Funny Little People’ were brought back by Howie. These dolls were joined by belly dancers, and were called a “mockery” by Piers. Sharon felt it was sensational, and nice, and Howie was stunned at Piers.
Sharon brought ‘Avery and the Calico Hearts’ back and they performed ‘Dynamite’. This young female band should definitely be able to find work. Sharon loved it, and was proud of them, Piers said although they do make him smile, he thinks they are too young. Howie feels they should have their own show.
‘Seth Grabel’ was another favorite which Howie brought back. His show involved hula hoops, fire, and a few explosions. Howie loved his taste, Piers was not really impressed and Sharon loved it.
‘Shevonne’ revisited the show at Sharon’s request. All three of the judges loved her and were glad she made the comeback. ‘West Springfield Dance Team’ also made a return for Sharon, and the judges could not get enough. Another Sharon choice was the ‘Yellow Design Stunt Team’ which was also well liked by all three judges. West Springfield Dance Team was among the winners.
Howie brought back ‘J Chris Newburg’ whose comedy routine was fabulous. Piers called it “offensive, false, inappropriate, and funny.” Sharon and Howie both liked it as well. ‘The Fiddleheads’ were another choice form Howie which was well loved everyone but Piers.
Piers chose ‘London Swank’ and ‘Summerwind Skippers’ to come back as well. Both acts were well received by the judges. ‘Charles Peachock was also a Piers decision, but due to a mishap during his sword act, the judges did not feel he did so well. London Swank and Summerwind Skippers will also be moving to the next round.
