June 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) As the third episode of ‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 6 began, Dan and Melody of the Rhinestone Ropers show up with guns and knives. Dan tosses a few knives at Melody while insisting that he is her friend. Then he shoots straight a a balloon, which Melody is holding. Finally, he does both…knives and bullets..while she is spinning.

For the next act, a lighted juggler, and no, that does not mean “well lit.” Next comes a dancing group called the “Purrfect Angelz” which is sent on through to Vegas. Then comes a fat man in spandex. Jay Maynard is some sort of Tron character, who is buzzed very quickly by Sharon. Howie asks him to start over as Piers buzzes in. Howie makes him begin all over again, and finally Howie buzzes him as well.

Sandou Trio Russian Bar, comes next to ‘America’s Got Talent’ as Cassie interprets English for the group. This consists of Cassie, her brother in law Sergei, and her husband Constantine. Their acrobatic act earns them a standing ovation from all three judges.

The show ends with a twenty two year old singer named Dani Shay, who does quite well, and a six year old dancer, who did not. Darren Taylor, who has already broken his neck twice, set out to break a world record on the show. He dives into a swimming pool with twelve inches of water in it from a height of twenty six feet.

For the fourth episode of Season 6 for the show ‘America’s Got Talent’, Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne and Piers Morgan were headed to Minneapolis, Minnesota right smack dab in the middle of winter, which is odd when many of the people watching the show are suffering through one hundred degree temperatures. But the blizzard which came with the cold kept Piers from showing up at all. For this reason, anyone who wishes to go on through to Vegas will need a yes vote from both Sharon and Howie.

The first contestant of the night, Sarah Hoeft, brings her parrot named “Echo” from Animal Gardens with her. She hopes that the parrot she has chosen will perform for the audience and the judges. Echo does not let her down and not only sings, but mimics other animal sounds as well, much to Sharon’s delight.

Lys Agnes has just decided that she wishes to sing once again. She stopped doing so two years ago when she lost her finance in a fatal car wreck. Lys is so sure this is what she wants, that she has chosen to quit her job to pursue a career as a singer. Her song choice is “Ave Maria.” which is not a song for amateurs. She pulls it off nicely, and does a beautiful job.

By the end of the show, Piers did manage to get to Minneapolis from New York. It took him eighteen hours.
