Dec. 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Television networks of the United States are bringing different interesting shows to entertain their viewers in the festive season. On December 21, Tru TV introduced its viewers to the owners of a pawn shop, American Jewelry and Loan. According to the reports, the television network has planned to show different aspects of the pawn shop in the special titled, “Hardcore Pawn” yet they have not specifically mentioned their plans.

The episode has featured in two parts to give a better understanding of the plot and it is presumed to be a pilot of a new series on this television network. American Jewelry and Loan, which is the focal point of the show will feature the owner with his son and daughter. The shop is managed by Seth Gold, the son of the owner, Les Gold. As it is difficult for one person to manage all the activities of the store, Ashley Board, sister of Seth Gold assists him in the job of running the busy store.

As per the reports, the busy pawn shop owned by the Gold family has witnessed a significant rise in retail sales and loan transactions after the global meltdown. They indicated that last year, they had an average of six hundred transactions in one day. The records of the store is quite impressive and clearly reveals that they have achieved around $4 million only from retail sales last year. People expected that the family, which has successfully managed the store for a considerable period of time would give some insight of their business strategies when they would appear on the Tru TV special, “Pawn Shop”.
