Feb 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Reality series “American Idol” always has something new to offer with each episode and the latest Denver auditions also managed to fulfill the entertainment quotient of the popular musical show. The Denver auditions of the ninth season of the series managed to garb many eyeballs as it featured one of the male contestants appearing in the show adorning only a bikini.

Contestant Ty Hemmerling stunned the judges as well as the viewers when he came into the auditioning room wearing a skimpy bikini. All the judges were visibly taken aback as the 25 year old participant confidently walked in wearing a multicolored bikini in a bid to grab the attention of the judges. The stunt did not seem to have gone down too well with the judges as they did not even bother to ask the guy anything about him. However, the contestant commenced his performance by singing Billy Ray Cyrus’s “Achy Breaky Heart” but managed to upset the judges even further by shaking his hips back and forth while performing the track. This resulted in the judges walking out of the auditioning room in utter disgust with judge Kara DioGuardi suggesting him not to move his hips indecently, before leaving the room.

Although Ty Hemmerling failed to impress the judges, he surely managed to gather the attention of all the viewers. However, the contestant did not leave the auditions empty-handed, as he was awarded the title of a ‘bikini boy’ by judge Randy Jackson.Apart from the ‘bikini boy’, the Denver auditions featured a host of talented contestants out of whom around seven were selected by the judges.
