American Idol will flourish with or without me, says Simon Cowell

The music mogul made the revelation amid reports that he is set to take rival British reality show The X Factor to the US.
“Whether I’m on it or off it, I think the show will flourish without me. I genuinely do,” the BBC quoted him as telling USA Today.
He continued: “I’m very grateful. I’ve had the best experience in my life since I’ve been on this show.”
His co-judge Randy Jackson added: “I think it can go on for some time. I think it is the best music reality show that has ever been on TV.” (ANI)
