“American Idol” Top 3 Candidates Selected

May 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “American Idol” is a reality show that has achieved an iconic status over the years and despite all the drama and controversy surrounding it, it continues to be the favorite of the viewers. It has the record of remaining the most viewed show of America for the last 7 years. It has played a vital role in launching stars like Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson. The viewers were watching
with bated breath to know which three candidates will make it to the top three of the current season of “American Idol” and the results are out now. The final three contenders battling for the crown are 24-year-old Lee Dewyze, 27-year-old Casey James and 24-year-old Crystal Bowersox. The last two are musicians and a favorite with the viewers. The grand finale of the current season of the reality show will take place on May 26.
Host Ryan Seacrest reminded the viewers that even though only one of the top three candidates will make it to be the winner all of them will get grand reception when they get back to their hometown. It was quite expected that Crystal Bowersox will make it to the top three. Only 4 episodes of the show are left now and the excitement of the fans of the show is reaching the peak already.
The fans are already speculating who would be the winner of the current season. The candidates have their respective areas of strengths and weaknesses but Crystal Bowersox is a hot favorite with the viewers. This season is also going to be the last one featuring judge Simon Cowell.
