Mar 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The 16 contestants performed their final group song and the perfectly blended group did the Michael Buble “I just haven’t met you yet” in perfect harmony.

The first top twelve Idol contestants announced was Didi Benami, Randy’s advice to her was to be consistent. Paige Miles and Katelyn Epperly were ask to stand in the middle of the stage and Ryan asked Simon which one of the ladies has more potential? Simon talked about both the good and bad performances they have had, and then said, “Paige has more potential.” Siobhan Magnus’s unique style pushed her through as one of the final twelve.

The guys were brought front and center to start the elimination process. Casey James who took his shirt off for Kara during auditions won the first seat for the men. Toddrick and Lee Dewyze stood side by side and waited for their results, when Ryan finally announced Lee was safe.

Crystal Bowersox had rave reviews from the judges is moving on to the top twelve. Big Mike earned his spot on the top twelve and Lacy soon joined him. The last spot for the guys went to Andy Garcia, sending Alex Lambert home. The final two left standing in anticipation of who is advancing on is Katie Stevens and Lily Scott. A surprise to many when Lily Scott was told she would not be moving on. She has been consistent from the beginning and Kara mentioned that Katie is still struggling to find herself although she has a very contemporary sound to her voice.
