American Idol runner up Crystal Bowersox splits from her boyfriend Tony Kusian

Los Angeles, May 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The American Idol runner up Crystal Bowersox has split with her boyfriend Tony Kusian. She broke the news of the split on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on KIIS-FM and confessed that the decision to part ways was mutual. They had split on Tuesday morning, the very day she was to perform on the American Idol for the last time in order to win the competition. She split from her boyfriend and also lost the show.
The reason for the split was because of the success and the stardom that is due to come Crystal’s way, for being the runner up at the American Idol. Whereas her ex-boyfriend was a person who belonged to a small town and wasn’t at all comfortable with the attention and the stardom that was coming Crystal’s way. She is looking forward to a big and a successful career, whereas Tony was not comfortable with the celebrity hood that was coming her way.
Crystal said that after the split, she is all the more determined to focus on her career and be a successful singer. She said that the split “put that fire in my belly” for her performance. She was mature enough to say that she is not angry with Tony, and they remain friends.
