November 15, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Allison Iraheta, the fourth place finalist of American Idol season eight, has come out expressing her opinion about this season’s judges and how the contestants might be affected by this fact. The 18-year-old singer said that anyone would choke if put under such pressure. The contestants are already under the pressure of high competition and the presence of these high profile judges can increase the pressure level even more.

However, the winner of Telemundo competition ‘Quinceañera: Mamá Quiero Ser Artista’ has faith in her successors. Allison thinks that the contestants will be able to sustain this high pressure. She is not envious of this year’s contestants, who are getting this golden opportunity to show their talents in front of Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez. Even if Allison says that she is not jealous of them but she must be wishing if she were participating in this season! Since she is just 18 and not being able to be a part of such a golden opportunity can make her jealous and that is quite natural. Moreover, she did well with her first album, which was released in December 1, 2009. Probably, she could have got much exposure and experience if she participated in this season!

No one can deny the fact this season’s contestants have been the most lucky ones among the American Idol contestants of all the previous seasons. We wish they can live up to the expectations of these two judges, who have joined the other judge Randy Jackson.
