May 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The episode of American Idol that took place yesterday made it clear which two candidates would make it to the final episodes. The elimination of contestant Casey James leaves the remaining duo, Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox to battle it out between them for the crown of the winner. The outcome will be clear within week but the fans are predicting who will emerge the winner already. The duo has been getting good votes in this season of the popular reality show and they never went out of public favor. Even the judges are divided in their opinion as to who will be the winner of the 9th season.

While Crystal Bowersox has always been a favorite with the viewers, one cannot deny the fact that over the months Lee DeWyze has become more matured and confident of his style. Judge Randy Jackson had some nice words for Lee DeWyze for the performance he gave on Wednesday night. The highlight of Wednesday’s episode was undoubtedly the blazing performance by popular teen singer Justin Bieber. After next week the viewers will not get to see judge Simon Cowell in the show any more.

One disappointment the viewers will have to put up with in the finale of the series is the absence of Adam Lambert. He confirmed yesterday that he will not be a part of the season finale that will take place next week. Some of his fans have already posted their displeasure about his absence in the finale online. The excitement regarding the season finale is reaching the crescendo and it will be replete with performances by some popular artists as it is being assumed.
