match2July 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The “American Idol” summer tour which was initially supposed to end in the month of September this year, will come to an end earlier, announced the producers of one of America’s most popular shows. While as many as seven shows which were scheduled to go on floors this summer have been cancelled, another program is now being prepared by Live Nation and will be released very soon in the future.

The summer tour of “American Idol” was initially touted as one of the best tours of this year, with organizers bringing the finalists of all the nine seasons to perform under one roof. However with the new arrangement being announced, it is the music lovers of the cities of Omaha, Kansas City, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Toronto, Buffalo and Cleveland who will have to wait for the new schedule to be set. However the organizers have also announced another plan, and that is that anyone from these cities who had previously purchased the tickets of the “American Idol” summer tour will get a refund of the same amount as the new dates of the tour are yet to be announced.

“American Idol” which had been one of the best shows of Fox Network in the past, has seen a rapid decline in the number of viewers in the recent past. The latest figures suggest that while the number of people watching the finale episode of the 2008 version of “American Idol” was 29 million, this number fell to less than 24 million when it came to watching Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox perform on the “American Idol” stage.
