ameApr 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The latest segment of the popular musical reality series “American Idol” witnessed one of its most dramatic episodes of the current season which kept the viewers glued to the television screens. All the supporters of 26 year old contestant Michael Lynche, who has emerged as one of the most promising contenders this season, could not have asked for more as the personal trainer was saved by the judges during last Wednesday’s episode.

Micheal Lynche, who hails from Queens in New York, enthralled the judges with his stiller performance of “This Woman’s Work” that was successful in earning the accolades from various quarters. Despite the fact that the highly popular contestant displayed an impressive performance on Tuesday night with a R&B take on “Eleanor Rigby”, Michael Lynche was still dumped in the bottom three during the elimination round as he received less viewer votes. However, all the people who have pitched their hopes on this promising contestant could breath a sign of relief after the judges took the decision to use their one-time power to save a participant and unanimously decided to save Michael Lynche. Much to the respite of the 26 year old contestant and his supporters, Simon Cowell announced that the judges would like to see Michael Lynche next week.

Apart from Micheal Lynche, the other two contestants who found themselves in the bottom three included 17 year old student Aaron Kelly as well as 25 year old musical artist Andrew Garcia. However, with Micheal Lynche not being sent back home this week, it is expected that two participants would be eliminated next week from the reality show.
