Mar 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Medical issue is not something that can cause much loved “American Idol’ contestant Crystal Bowersox to shrug away from the singing competition as the 24 year old musical artist was back on stage on Wednesday to ensure her position in the musical reality show. The Ohio native was admitted to a medical facility on Tuesday which resulted in the last minute change of events in the reality show with the male semifinalists taking the stage instead of the female contestants.

Crystal Bowersox was supposed to perform on the Tuesday night’s edition of the show along with the other top nine women contestants. However, as popular contestant was hospitalized on Tuesday, the reality show officials had to resort to the last-minute switch with the guys performing on Tuesday. However, knowing for sure that if she failed to perform during Wednesday’s show, she would be sent back home, the Ohio native gave her best shot and delivered a performance that managed to impress the judges, who showered her with well-deserved appreciation. Crystal Bowersox’s rendition of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Long as I Can See the Light” turned out to be one of the most amazing performances of the evening and surely registered a whole new fan base for her.

Although details about why the 24 year old had to be hospitalized has not been available, while performing on stage the singer surely did not show any signs of illness and showcased a performance that was enjoyed by all the viewers and at the same time ensured that she wins the accolades of the judges.
