amerricanFeb 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “American Chopper,” the reality series that airs in TLC and is in its sixth season right now, will be coming to an end this Thursday. The finale of the season would be airing on Thursday, Feb 11. “American Chopper” had gained immense popularity since its inception in 2003. It followed the life and behind the scenes action of the Orange County Chopper, a motorcycle shop owned by the founders of the show, Paul Teutul Sr. and Paul Teutul Junior. The son was mostly known on the show as Paulie, or simply Junior.

It had earlier been declared by Paul Teutul Senior in a newspaper interview that he was expecting the show to run at least another two or three years. However, that did not happen as soon after, Paul Teutul Junior quit the Orange County Choppers, and subsequently the show too. He had later on been sued by Paul Teutul Senior about some conflict over the stocks of the company. However, the show continued to follow his life, despite the fact that he was no longer part of the company.

Paul Teutul Senior has also been charged by a number of the cast mates, including Cody Conelly. He had also been named in a fraud case. Moreover, the Orange County Choppers and the Discovery Channel were not able to sort out a symbiotic deal between themselves about the seventh season of the “American Chopper,” according to the statement released by Stephen Markovits, attorney. TLC issued a statement saying that the family will always be a part of the network, even though “American Chopper” has come to an end.
