America Ferrera to act in an untitled family wedding project
May 18th, 2009 - 3:10 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )Washington, May18 (ANI): Ugly Betty actress America Ferrera will team up with Forest Whitaker and Carlos Mencia for Fox Searchlight’s untitled family wedding project.
The family wedding tale will be directed by Rick Famuyiwa.
The story is based on the clash-of-cultures comedy, which centres on two overbearing fathers portrayed by Whitaker, Mencia, who must put aside their differences to plan the wedding of their son and daughter (Ferrera) in less than two weeks.
Filming will begin next month in Los Angeles, reports Variety magazine.
