July 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) American audiences can get ready to be wowed next Sunday with the latest AMC offering Rubicon. The pilot episode of the mystery drama was aired back in June and ever since then the audience has been keeping an eye on the show. On August 1, AMC will air a two hour special that will show the first episode in the first half and then the rest of the premiere. The network has ordered a total of 13 episodes and released a trailer that promises an interesting and gripping drama in store for the audience.

The plot of Rubicon revolves around the intelligence analyst Will Travers. Trying to come to terms with a tragedy, he realizes that the people in his agency are a part of a secret society that has the power to manipulate world events at a large scale. As he goes from mystery to mystery he is seen getting involved deeper and deeper and ruffling more feathers. The lead role is played by James Badge Dale and some of the TV experts feel that his character will be highly interesting because of the persisting inner struggle amidst a big conspiracy.

The series also has on board some big names from the TV industry that includes Miranda Richardson and Jessica Collins. The official website has promoted the show with the line ‘Not Every Conspiracy Is A Theory’ and the trailer shows that the audience can expect an intellectual ride over the next 13 Sundays on AMC. The show is produced by Warner Horizon Television and created by Jason Horwitch.
